杠上開花 · 搶杠胡
四川麻将的特色規則：
- 杠上開花：玩家喊杠後，補摸的那張牌剛好胡牌，番數翻倍。
- 搶杠胡：有人喊補杠（已有暗碰，再摸第四張），其他玩家若聽該牌可直接胡。
番型體系（基礎版）
- 平胡（1番）：基礎牌型，四組順子或刻子加一對將。

Sichuan Mahjong
Sichuan Mahjong is one of the most widely played and aggressive Chinese Mahjong styles. Its core spirit is missing one suit and battle to the end: every player must abandon one of the three suits, and the hand continues after the first player wins.
Core Rules
Missing One Suit
Before the hand develops, each player must choose one suit to give up: characters, bamboos, or circles. This forces players to focus on two suits and greatly speeds up the route to tenpai.
Battle to the End
The hand does not end when the first player wins. The remaining players continue until more players win or the wall is exhausted. One hand can therefore produce two or three winners.
Kong Win and Robbing the Kong
- Win after kong: After declaring a kong, the replacement tile completes the hand.
- Robbing the kong: If a player adds a tile to an exposed pung, another player waiting on that tile may win from it.
Basic Scoring Patterns
- Basic hand: Four sets and one pair.
- All triplets: All sets are triplets or kongs.
- Full flush: All suited tiles come from one suit.
- Seven pairs: Seven pairs instead of the standard structure.
- Kong roots: Kongs add value in many Sichuan tables.
Practical Tips
- Choose your missing suit early; hesitation makes the hand inefficient.
- Even if another player wins first, battle-to-the-end gives you a chance to recover value.
- Declare kongs carefully because robbing the kong may be possible.
